Target Audience: This webinar is intended for primary care providers in Montana who manage patients with latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI).

Description: This webinar will cover the fundamentals of latent tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment. Participants will also learn about the epidemiology and new mandatory reporting requirements of latent tuberculosis infection in Montana.

Webinar Objectives:

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify key populations at risk for TB infection based on current epidemiology data to inform and prioritize populations for testing and treatment
  • List recommended treatment options for LTBI and describe the advantages versus disadvantages to each to inform clinical judgment in choosing the optimum regimen for patient care
  • Identify reporting criteria and updated Administrative Rules for Montana (ARM) pertinent to LTBI to more effectively report TB diagnosis
