Description: This training provided public health clinicians with a focused overview of ocular tuberculosis, a rare but severe manifestation of TB. Participants gained skills in diagnosing and managing ocular TB using evidence-based approaches, and learned to recognize treatment-related complications that may impact vision. The training emphasized the critical role of clinical and public health nursing case management in ensuring treatment adherence, monitoring for adverse effects, and supporting patients throughout their care journey. Strategies for preventing transmission, coordinating care across disciplines, and improving outcomes for both patients and communities were highlighted. This webinar is part of a collaborative Nurse Education Series. The 4 Tuberculosis Centers of Excellence for Training, Education, and Medical Consultation (TB COEs) and Heartland National TB Center (HNTC) have partnered with the National Tuberculosis Nursing Coalition (NTNC) to offer a tuberculosis nurse case conference series.
