Level 2: TB Clinical and Case Management

The Curry International Tuberculosis Center (CITC) has updated its Tuberculosis Case Management and Contact Investigation Intensive (TB CMCI) by shifting from live virtual trainings to a hybrid format. This includes online self-paced modules, and one live interactive session.

Each asynchronous module will take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete. Level 2 covers the following modules:

  1. Basic Lab Diagnostics for TB Disease
  2. Treatment of Drug-Susceptible TB
  3. Case Management for Drug-Susceptible TB
  4. Determining Treatment Completion for Drug-Susceptible TB
  5. Supporting Patients to Complete Treatment

 

Target Audience: TB nurse case managers caring for persons with TB disease

Format: Hybrid – self-paced online modules + one live interactive session

Dates: Please note that registration for this course will open in March 2026.

Cost: All CITC trainings are free of charge.

 

The Curry International Tuberculosis Center is designated as a Tuberculosis Center of Excellence for Training, Education, and Medical Consultation (TB COE) via a funded cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Curry International Tuberculosis Center prioritizes learners from the western region of the United States which consists of seventeen jurisdictions: Alaska, Arizona, California (including Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco), Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the U.S. Pacific Island Territories.
