Description: This training will highlight the results of recent clinical trials for tuberculosis (TB) infection and TB disease, both drug-susceptible and drug-resistant. It will also provide an overview of studies in progress and a summary of recent updates.
Target Audience: This training is intended for all members of the tuberculosis community, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and advocates.
Credit: This training is approved for up to 1.25 continuing education hours (see below). Certificates will be available within 8 - 10 weeks.
Cost: There is no fee for this training.
Objectives:
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- describe the current landscape of tuberculosis (TB) clinical trials to inform on TB research progress.
- describe recent results from clinical trials for both TB infection and TB disease to prepare learners with knowledge for potential future application.
Training Format: Virtual training includes lecture and Q&A/discussion.
