Didactic Presentation: World Tuberculosis Day Webinar
Speaker: Scott Lindquist, M.D., M.P.H., WA State Depatment of Health and Liz Stapf, TB Survivor/Advocate
Objectives:
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to
- Identify key populations at risk for tuberculosis infection and tuberculosis disease and use this information to prioritize TB control efforts to test and treat for tuberculosis.
- Recognize the need for patient support in the treatment for TB to better enable good treatment results.
- Understand a patient’s TB treatment experience and perspective to improve treatment completion outcomes.
